Stonecut Studio

Free resources

Free, open source tools for Minecraft creators that work with the AI agent you already use. Copy the setup prompt, paste it into your agent, and it checks what you need and asks before it installs anything.

Stonecut Blockbench MCP

Lets an AI agent, such as Claude Code, build Minecraft models in the Blockbench desktop app: GeckoLib mobs with bones, textures and animations, and Java item and block models. You watch every change in your own Blockbench, and the agent checks its work from screenshots.

On its own, an agent cannot use Blockbench, and model files it writes by hand go wrong in ways it cannot see, like a joint in the wrong place or a sword held at an odd angle. With this, it makes real edits, looks at the result and fixes what is off. It only touches the folders you allow, and every edit can be undone.

You need the Blockbench desktop app and Node.js 20 or newer. Free and open source under the MIT license.

Set up with your agent copies a prompt. Paste it into your agent: it checks what you have, shows its plan and asks before it runs anything.

To add the plugin yourself, open Blockbench, go to File > Plugins, choose Load Plugin from File and pick stonecut_bridge.js. Click Allow on each question it asks.
